Privacy policy

This policy explains how Auditgear Woodcraft Sdn Bhd (registration 202401052318 (1655831-D), “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through auditgear.pro and in the course of furniture commissions. We process personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Data we collect

We keep collection deliberately narrow:

• Enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number (if given) and the project brief you write in our contact form.
• Commission records — for confirmed projects: delivery address, site measurements, drawings, invoices and payment records.
• Basic usage data — anonymous page statistics as described in our cookie policy.

We do not collect identity card numbers, financial account details through this website, or any data about children.

2. Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare feasibility answers and quotations.
• To design, build, deliver and install a commissioned piece, and to honour warranty obligations afterwards.
• To keep accounting records required by Malaysian law.
• To understand, in aggregate, which pages of this site are useful.

We do not send marketing newsletters, and we never sell, rent or trade personal data. If that position ever changes, we will ask for your consent first rather than assume it.

3. Who sees your data

Within the company, only the people who need it: the founder, the drawing office and the delivery crew handling your project. Outside the company, data is shared only with delivery carriers for out-of-state shipments (name, phone and address, nothing more), our accountants where the law requires it, and authorities where a valid legal demand compels it.

4. Where it lives and for how long

Enquiry emails and commission records are stored on access-controlled systems. Enquiries that do not become commissions are deleted within 24 months. Commission records are kept for 7 years to match warranty and statutory retention periods, then destroyed.

5. Your rights under the PDPA

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or withdraw consent to further processing (which may mean we cannot continue a project). Write to [email protected] with the subject line “Data request” and we will respond within 21 days.

6. Security

We use TLS on this website, access controls on our systems and plain common sense in the office: project files are not left on shared machines and paper drawings with client addresses are shredded when superseded.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the revision date above changes with it. Material changes affecting active clients will be notified by email.
